Junior Junction Key Terms for Families

Effective August 10, 2026

Plain-language summary of the terms that matter most for parents.

Please read this before you create an account. It covers the terms that matter most. Our full Terms and Policies for Families, which include the Privacy Policy, Child Safety Policy, Community Guidelines, Cancellation and Refund Policy, and Photo and Media Consent Policy, are available at juniorjunction.com/terms and are the complete agreement between you and Junior Junction, Inc.

1. We are a marketplace, not an activity provider

Junior Junction helps you find and book youth activities run by independent local businesses. We do not run classes, employ instructors, supervise children, or operate any venue. When you book, your contract for that activity is directly with the business. That business is responsible for delivering it and for everything that happens before, during, and after.

2. We check listings, but we do not inspect businesses

We review every listing before it appears, for completeness, accuracy of category, and content standards. We do not verify licenses, confirm insurance is in force, run background checks, or inspect facilities. A listing on Junior Junction is not certification or endorsement.

Every listed business must hold the required licenses and permits, carry commercial general liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence, run background screening on everyone with access to children, publish supervision ratios, and report serious incidents to us within 24 hours. We remove businesses that fail these standards. Please still visit the facility, meet the instructor, and ask your own questions before enrolling.

3. Your account and your child's profile

You must be 18 or older and the parent or legal guardian of each child whose profile you create. Children do not have accounts. You create, control, and can delete your child's profile at any time. Businesses cannot contact your child directly; messaging runs through you.

4. Your child's information

We collect your child's first name, age, gender, avatar, interests, and any note you add, such as an allergy. We share it only with the business you choose to book with, and only what that business needs to run the activity safely.

We do not sell your information or your child's. We do not advertise to children or build advertising profiles of them. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

5. Payments and refunds

Businesses set their own prices. Payments are processed through Stripe, and Junior Junction collects on the business's behalf. We never see or store your full card number.

Each business sets its own cancellation and refund terms, shown on its listing before you book. Two minimum standards apply regardless of what a business says:

  • If the business cancels a session or cannot deliver it, you choose either a make-up session or a refund for the affected sessions.
  • If you withdraw partway through a multi-session plan, unused sessions are refunded or credited on a pro-rata basis, less any cancellation fee disclosed before you booked.

Contact the business first. If it is unresolved after five business days, contact support@juniorjunction.com and we can review the record and process a refund on the business's behalf where its policy or the law requires one.

6. Photos of your child

No business may photograph or record your child identifiably without your documented consent. Ask each business about its photography practices before enrolling. You can withdraw consent at any time. Junior Junction never uses images of children in its own marketing.

7. Safety and reporting

Report any concern to safety@juniorjunction.com. You do not need proof; a concern is enough. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 first. We suspend businesses while we investigate credible safety allegations, and we report suspected child exploitation to law enforcement and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

8. What you agree not to do

Do not create a profile for a child you have no legal authority over, let a child use your account unsupervised, attempt to contact another family's child, harass a business or instructor, or post false reviews.

9. Legal terms you should know

Activities carry risk. Sports, martial arts, dance, gymnastics, swim, and similar activities carry inherent risks including physical injury. By booking, you accept those risks for yourself and your child, and you release Junior Junction from claims arising out of an activity, a business's conduct, or the condition of a venue. This release does not cover our own gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud.

Our liability is limited. Junior Junction's total liability to you is capped at the greater of what you paid through the Platform in the previous six months, or one hundred dollars. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Most disputes go to arbitration. Disputes with Junior Junction are resolved by individual arbitration rather than in court, and class actions are waived. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of accepting these terms by emailing legal@juniorjunction.com. Claims for personal injury, abuse, or wrongful death involving a child are excluded from arbitration and may be brought in court. Small claims court remains available.

Governing law. California, with venue in Santa Clara County where arbitration does not apply.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. Material changes take effect 30 days after we notify you in the app or by email.
